Participants in this activity will have the opportunity to join fragments of the replica of a vase found at the Sanctuary of Artemis at Amarynthos and reveal the mythological representation on it: the famous hero of Athens, Theseus, who kills the Minotaur.

After joining the vase and recognising the mythological scene on it, participants will learn, through a short interactive story, the reason that the Eretrians chose to depict the feat of the Athenian hero, Theseus, on a vase which they made themselves and dedicated to Artemis at her sanctuary in Amarynthos. The connection and relationship between the two city-states and their regions, Athens (Attica) and Eretria (Euboea), will be brought to light!
